Indoor Air Quality
SUMMIT
performs Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) studies to investigate the quality
of the air in a working environment. Energy conservation measures have
resulted in the minimizing of the infiltration of the outside air and
contribution of indoor air containments. As a result, moisture problems
may occur, encouraging the growth of mold. Molds produce allergens,
irritants and toxins. The affects of mold can cause occupants to report
odors and a variety of health problems (such as headaches, breathing
difficulties, skin irritation, allergic reactions, and aggravation of
asthma symptoms).
